Right from the Runway: Designer Wes Gordon Springs into Neimans

Neiman Marcus in Natick, Massachusetts didn't just show off the new creations from emerging fashion designer Wes Gordon, they showed off the designer himself!
In a special appearance at the store's Natick location, Gordon, and models adorned in his clothes, kicked off the new season with a splash of color and dared fashionistas to spruce up their wardrobe with vibrant prints.

The 26 year old designer graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London in 2009, launching his own line that same year.

But before graduation Gordon interned at Tom Ford and was chosen as Oscar de la Renta's personal intern. He actually handed de la Renta pins as he draped fabric. So it's no surprise to see a slight de la Renta influence.

And perhaps a little Alexander McQueen? Gordon told TIME magazine in February that one of the main reasons he wanted to attend Central Saint Martins is because McQueen is a graduate.

A feast for a fashionista's eyes!
My favorite piece? Definitely this cream coat with an oversized collar and a fur finish. Luxury from an emerging designer who is just getting started.
